The modelling clay gasket is very easy to use. It is removed directly from the pack and can be used immediately. Thanks to its kneadability, it can be moulded into any desired shape and adapted to the area to be sealed. After application, the sealant hardens without shrinking or cracking. This joint sealing tape is very versatile and ideal for various construction and renovation projects. It is suitable for exterior and interior use and can be used in a wide range of applications, including window construction, interior finishing, façade construction (including with natural stone), external thermal insulation composite systems (ETICS), timber frame construction, timber and metal construction, prefabricated construction, container construction, noise protection construction and roof construction. The tape is pre-compressed and supplied on a roll, which makes it easier to handle. It has a width of 11 mm and is suitable for joints from 3 to 7 mm. The roll has a length of 4.4 metres and the tape can be decompressed to a maximum of approx. 28 mm. The colour of the tape is black, which gives it a clean and professional appearance. In addition to its primary function as a seal against wind, dust and splash water, it also has sound and heat insulating properties. This can help to reduce energy costs and preserve the building fabric. The tape complies with DIN 18542 BG1, a standard for joint sealing tapes that guarantees their quality and performance.
