The sealant is heat-resistant and can withstand temperatures of up to 1200 degrees Celsius. It expands when exposed to heat, preventing fire and smoke from penetrating. Thanks to its high flexibility, it can also easily absorb movements and settlements in the building.
The product is certified in accordance with the European standard EN 1366-4 for fire protection joints and corresponds to building material class B1 in accordance with DIN 4102, making it flame-retardant and helping to prevent the spread of fire.
The application of 325 Fire Protection Hybrid is simple and straightforward. The sealant can be applied and smoothed out using a cartridge gun. After curing, it can be painted over and can therefore be visually adapted to the surroundings.
